All Cash Pickup transactions are directly terminating into your beneficiary’s APS wallet using the mobile number you entered on the transaction. Therefore, it is important you enter your beneficiary’s correct APS Wallet number. You can kindly request your beneficiaries in the Gambia to get their correct Mobile Number that have APS Wallet as all Cash Pickup transactions are going directly into their APS wallets.
The Mobile number is their wallet account number; hence it is important to enter the correct mobile number for your beneficiaries to avoid transactions going into a wrong beneficiary.
To avoid your beneficiaries experiencing a delay in collecting cash if a wrong number has been entered, the number you entered belongs to someone else and not your beneficiary, or transaction goes to a number that belongs to your beneficiary but the number is not registered with APS wallet, and to avoid such delays please always check with your beneficiaries in the Gambia to get their correct Mobile Number that have APS Wallet.
APS Wallet works with any network in The Gambia.
- When adding a new beneficiary, you will first be asked to enter your beneficiary’s MOBILE NUMBER. Once you entered the number, the system will check if this mobile number you entered is already registered on APS Wallet.
- If it is registered on APS wallet, it will show you the FULL NAME of the person the number is registered to.
- Click on NEXT and a pop-up will appear for you to CONFIRM or EDIT the details.
- If the name that appears on the screen is different to your intended beneficiary, click on EDIT to enter a New Mobile Number.
- Once you clicked on EDIT, and entered a NEW MOBILE NUMBER, click next to continue with your transaction.
NOTE: you cannot change the displayed name on the screen, but you can change the mobile number.
